Nail biter

We had the honor of watching Carter play in another All Star game tonight in 100 degree temps.  It seems to be the thing to do these days.  Both sets of grandparents even joined in the fun in this heat.  It was a great close game all the way.

We were tied at 5 going into the 6th.  Carter had a grounder hit to him at 3rd base which he fielded beautifully and threw out the runner at first.  There was a guy on 2nd headed to third in which the first baseman promptly threw back to Carter for the catch and tag creating an amazing double play to end the inning and give us a chance to bat for the win.  And bat for the win we did!  We won 6 to 5.  

We get Saturday off and are hoping for a cooling off before we play again on Sunday.
